Patient-Centered, Empowering Website for LASIK and Eye Care

As the lead on this project, I spearheaded the design and development of a WordPress website for an eye doctor specializing in LASIK, with a focus on creating a user-centric, warm, and informative experience. The goal was to shift the perception of LASIK and eye care from being daunting to empowering, ensuring visitors felt comfortable exploring their options. The site features video testimonials, giving potential patients authentic insights.

To enhance user engagement, we built an interactive LASIK self-test that allows visitors to determine if they are candidates for LASIK, with personalized service recommendations based on their responses. The site also includes visually engaging icons and infographics to present information clearly and accessibly. I developed a custom service cost calculator from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, providing users with an easy way to estimate procedure costs, collaborating with the team to help refine this element after building the initial prototype.

The overall design balances professionalism with warmth, leveraging user-friendly navigation and contact forms to ensure a seamless user experience. This project successfully combined both design and functionality, making the path to better eye care feel approachable and empowering for all visitors.
